Before photography I taught kids and, if I had to choose one thing to teach ALL DAY -
Because reading:
- helps children with every other subject (even maths and art requires reading skills),
- develops vocabulary and grammar,
- promotes critical thinking skills, and
- gives students the (otherwise rare) chance to share their thoughts and ideas in a small group, or one-to-one situation.
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, with becoming your child’s teacher overnight, I hope these reading tips make the teaching side feel easier (less like rocket science, and more joy-filled!).
